What is the difference between Raw Marks and Normalized Marks in CBT exams?
In multi-shift computer-based tests (such as SSC and RRB), exams are held across multiple days with slight variations in question paper difficulty. Recruitment boards apply a standard mathematical normalization formula to ensure fair evaluation, resulting in normalized marks that decide merit.
What should I do if my roll number is in the provisional merit list?
If your roll number appears in the merit list, carefully review the next stage instructions (such as Document Verification, Physical Endurance Test, or Tier-2 Examination dates) and begin gathering all required original certificates.
