🎓 Educational Qualification
Candidate must hold a Graduate Degree in any discipline from any recognized University incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India. Candidate must be an Indian Citizen and permanent resident of Assam registered with an Employment Exchange in Assam, and fluent in Assamese or an official state language.
⏳ Age Limit (आयु सीमा)
Minimum 21 Years and Maximum 38 Years as of 01 January 2026. Upper age relaxation applicable as per Assam Government rules.
💰 Pay Scale & Salary
Pay Band-4: Rs. 30,000 - 1,10,000/- with Grade Pay Rs. 13,300/- to Rs. 14,500/- per month plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances as per Assam State Service Rules

- Stage 1: Preliminary Examination (Objective Type - 2 Papers of 200 Marks each: GS-I & GS-II) [Screening Test]
- Stage 2: Main Examination (Conventional Essay & GS Written Papers - 6 Papers of 250 Marks each = Total 1500 Marks: Paper-1 Essay, Paper-2 GS-I, Paper-3 GS-II, Paper-4 GS-III, Paper-5 GS-IV, Paper-6 GS-V Assam)

- Visit the official Assam Public Service Commission recruitment portal at apscrecruitment.in or apsc.nic.in.
- Navigate to the 'Download e-Admission Certificate / Admit Card' link from the homepage notifications.
- Select 'Combined Competitive (Main) Examination, 2025-26'.
- Enter your Application Number / Roll Number and Date of Birth.
- Click on 'View / Print e-Admission Certificate' to generate your examination hall ticket.
- Verify your name, roll number, photograph, Guwahati examination centre address, and subject paper timings (09 to 11 October 2026).
