Step-by-Step Registration & Status Check Guide
1Visit the authorized national solar portal at pmsuryaghar.gov.in.
2Select 'Apply for Rooftop Solar' and register by choosing your State, Electricity Distribution Company (DISCOM), and Consumer Account Number.
3Log in using your registered mobile number and submit the online rooftop solar application.
4Wait for DISCOM technical feasibility approval. Upon approval, install the plant through any registered/empanelled solar vendor in your district.
5Following installation, vendor submits plant details and applies for net-metering installation through DISCOM.
6DISCOM officials inspect the plant, install the bi-directional net meter, and generate a commissioning certificate on the portal.
7Submit your bank details and cancelled cheque copy on the portal; the central subsidy of up to Rs. 78,000 is credited directly into your bank account within 30 days.
