🎓 Educational Qualification
Candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India or foreign university approved by UGC. Candidate must be an Indian citizen and a Domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
Minimum 21 Years and Maximum 32 Years as of 01 January of notification year. Upper age relaxations apply for reserved categories and in-service personnel.
Category Relaxation: Relaxation in upper age limit: 34 years for reserved categories (SC, ST, RBA, Social Caste, ALC/IB); 35 years for physically challenged candidates; up to 34 years for in-service candidates holding substantive positions.
💰 Pay Scale & Salary
Pay Band Level 8: Rs. 47,600 - 1,51,100/- per month plus Dearness Allowance, HRA, and state allowances as per J&K Civil Services Rules

Stage 1: Preliminary Examination (Objective Type - 2 Papers of 200 Marks each: Paper-I General Studies & Paper-II CSAT qualifying at 33%) [Screening Only]
Stage 2: Main Written Examination (Total 1750 Marks: Compulsory English 300 Marks [Qualifying], Essay 250 Marks, General Studies-I to IV 250 Marks each = 1000 Marks, Optional Subject Paper-I & II 250 Marks each = 500 Marks)
