🎯 Eligibility Criteria & Age Limits / पात्रता एवं आयु सीमा
🎓 Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed SSLC (10th Standard) or equivalent examination recognized by the Government of Kerala. Must possess a valid Driving License to drive Heavy Goods / Light Motor Vehicles with badge. Physical and visual standards must be certified by a Medical Officer.
Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 26 Years as on 01 January of notification year. Upper age relaxation applies for reserved categories.
Category Relaxation: Relaxation up to 29 years for OBC candidates and 31 years for SC/ST candidates. Ex-servicemen relaxations apply under KS&SSR rules.
💰 Pay Scale & Salary
Scale of Pay: Rs. 31,100 - 66,800/- per month along with uniform allowance, risk allowance, and state Dearness Allowance

Stage 1: OMR Written Examination (Objective Test on Traffic Rules, Motor Vehicles Act, General Knowledge & Mental Ability)
Stage 2: Practical Driving Test (T-Test, H-Test and Road Driving Assessment by Motor Vehicles Department)
Stage 3: Scrutiny of Original Driving Licenses, Endorsements, and Educational Certificates
Stage 4: Publication of Final Ranked List bringing into effect from 25.09.2026
