For Constable (UB): Higher Secondary (H.S. / Class 12th) passed from a Govt recognized Board. For Constable (AB): H.S.L.C. (Class 10th) passed from a Govt recognized Board. Candidates must be Indian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Assam registered with a local Employment Exchange in Assam, and fluent in Assamese or a recognised state language.
