🎓 Educational Qualification
Matriculation (Class 10th) from a recognized Board of School Education for Executive, Armed, and SDRF Constables; 10+2 (Higher Secondary) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for Telecommunication Constables. Candidate must be a Domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and meet the prescribed Physical Standards.
⏳ Age Limit (आयु सीमा)
Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 28 Years as of 01 January 2025 (born between 01-01-1997 and 01-01-2007). Upper age relaxations apply for in-service candidates and special categories.
💰 Pay Scale & Salary
Pay Band Level-2: Rs. 19,900 - 63,200/- per month plus Dearness Allowance, HRA, Uniform Allowance, and Special Risk Allowances under J&K Police Rules

- Stage 1: Written Examination (100 Objective Questions, 100 Marks, 2 Hours duration) covering General English, Elementary Mathematics, General Science, and J&K GK / Current Affairs
- Stage 2: Physical Standard Test (PST) - Height: Male 5 ft 6 in, Female 5 ft 2 in (5 ft 4 in / 5 ft 0 in for Gorkhas); Chest: 32 in unexpanded, 33.5 in expanded
- Stage 3: Physical Endurance Test (PET) - Male: 1600m Run in 6 mins 30 secs, 20 Pushups; Female: 1000m Run in 6 mins 30 secs, Shot Put (4kg) 14.5 feet
