🎯 Eligibility Criteria & Age Limits / पात्रता एवं आयु सीमा
🎓 Educational Qualification
10+2 (Senior Secondary / 12th Pass) or equivalent examination from a recognized education board/university. For Ex-Servicemen, minimum qualification is Matriculation. Candidates must have passed Punjabi at Matriculation (10th) level.
Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 28 Years as of 01 January 2026. Upper age relaxation of 5 years applies for SC/BC candidates of Punjab.
Category Relaxation: Relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit is permissible for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes of Punjab (up to 33 years). Ex-Servicemen get service period + 3 years deduction.
💰 Pay Scale & Salary
Pay Matrix Level-2: Rs. 19,900/- per month minimum admissible pay for 3 years probation as per 7th CPC guidelines

Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT) - Paper-I (100 Questions, 100 Marks: General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Mental Ability, English, Punjabi, Digital Literacy) + Paper-II Punjabi Qualifying (50 Marks, 50% qualifying)
Stage 2: Physical Screening Test (PST) - 1,600m Run in 6.5 Mins, Long Jump 3.80m, High Jump 1.15m (Male) / 800m Run in 4.5 Mins, Long Jump 3.00m, High Jump 0.95m (Female)
Stage 3: Physical Measurement Test (PMT) - Minimum Height 5 ft 7 in (170.2 cm) for Male and 5 ft 2 in (157.5 cm) for Female
