🎓 Educational Qualification
10+2 (Senior Secondary / 12th Pass) examination from an education board recognized by the Government of Himachal Pradesh. Candidates must be Bonafide Himachali residents.
Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 26 Years as of 01 January 2026. Age relaxations apply up to 28 Years for SC, ST, OBC, and Home Guards candidates.
Category Relaxation: 2 years relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Gorkha candidates (up to 28 years); Home Guards candidates get relaxation up to 28 years as per Himachal Pradesh Police Department Rules.
💰 Pay Scale & Salary
Pay Band Level-3: Rs. 20,200 - 64,000/- plus applicable Dearness Allowance and allowances after completion of initial contractual service

Stage 1: Physical Standard Test (PST) - Minimum Height 5 ft 6 in for Male, 5 ft 2 in for Female (5 ft 4 in / 5 ft 0 in for SC/ST)
Stage 2: Physical Efficiency Test (PET - Qualifying) - 1,500m Run in 5.5 Mins, High Jump 1.25m, Broad Jump 4.00m (Male) / 800m Run in 3.75 Mins, High Jump 1.00m, Broad Jump 3.00m (Female)
Stage 3: Objective Written Examination (90 Marks) - English (10), Hindi (10), General Awareness (15), Reasoning (15), Mathematics (15), Science (10)
Stage 4: Evaluation of NCC / Sports Certificates (6 Marks), Document Verification & Medical Examination
