Jharkhand Abua Awas Yojana (AAY) is the state government flagship housing initiative providing Rs. 2 Lakh grant to poor, homeless, and kutcha house families left out from the central Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Gramin (PMAY-G). The scheme funds the construction of a permanent 3-room pucca house (31 sq. meters built-up area) equipped with a dedicated kitchen and toilet. In addition to the ₹2 lakh cash grant transferred directly into the beneficiary's Aadhaar-linked bank account in four construction-linked installments, beneficiaries also receive 95 days of unskilled labour wages under MGNREGA. Application tracking and geo-tagged inspection status are managed online through aay.jharkhand.gov.in.

Step-by-Step Registration & Status Check Guide
1Step 1: Obtain the physical Abua Awas Yojana Application Form from your local Gram Panchayat office, Block Development Office (BDO), or during 'Aapki Yojana, Aapki Sarkar, Aapke Dwar' camps.
